The 11th Asia-Pacific Conference on Infection Control - Infection Prevention and Control for All: Implementation in Healthcare settings and Community
The 11th Asia-Pacific Conference on Infection Control was successfully held in the cultural and historical city of Jakarta, Indonesia for 4 days from 25-28/7/2024 with more than 500 delegates from countries around the world. Following the success of previous conferences, the theme of 2024 is “Infection Prevention and Control for All: Implementation in Health Care Facilities and Communities” bringing the latest information and results from governments, leading physicians on these topics, international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and from leading businesses around the world.
At this conference, the Vietnamese delegation made many contributions with rich content presentations and aimed at improving the quality of infection control. Head of the Vietnamese delegation - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Anh Thu - President of the Vietnam Infection Control Association, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Infection Control Association gave a presentation on Innovations to improve and sustain hand hygiene compliance. This is an opportunity for countries to exchange knowledge, experience and advanced research that truly inspires doctors, organizations and participants. The conference is also an opportunity to encourage doctors to continue developing their careers and contributing to the health of the community in the world.

APSIC aims to bring together multidisciplinary infection control professionals in the region to share their knowledge, experience, skills, and quality improvement and research findings by facilitating the exchange of information through training courses, seminars, congresses and conferences in the Asia Pacific region.
