Infection Control - New vision

On August 26, 2023, the Infection Control Society of Thua Thien Hue province successfully organized the Infection Control Scientific Conference in Central - Central Highlands with the participation of more than 400 delegates from Vietnam's provinces and cities.

In order to improve the knowledge and practice of infection control better and better, at the conference, the doctors shared many diverse, fruitful and practical topics, attracting a lot of attention from the delegates and businesses towards Infection Control - New vision

Topics in the morning session:

- Updating new trends of infection control, trends of training in infection control in Asia - Pacific, by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thi Anh Thu, President of the Vietnam Society of Infection Control presented

- Ventilation control in medical facilities, by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, Vice President of the Vietnam Society of Infection Control presented

- WHO strategy to prevent emerging diseases, by Dr. Sangjun Moon, WHO Vietnam Emergency Medical Team Leader

- Recommendations for the use of antibiotics to treat multi-resistant infections according to the American Society of Infectious Diseases, due to MSc. Tran Huu Luyen, Vice Chairman of Hue Center for Infection Control Society presented

- Sharing about the business's contribution to the development of infection control - the heart of the hospital presented by Mr. Duong Hoang Linh, General Director of Duong Gia Company
